Jance E. Floyd focuses his practice in the Oil and Gas Section of Perry, Shields, Campbell & Floyd PLLC, conducting consultation and transactional matters, along with title examination. Mr. Floyd has extensive experience in oil and gas title issues, as he has spent numerous years in the Permian Basin as both a landman and attorney, gaining practice experience in the industry to better serve his clients.
Mr. Floyd graduated with a degree in Theatre from Lyon College (B.A., 2007), and with a Juris Doctorate from Texas Wesleyan University School of Law (J.D., 2011). He is a board member of the Permian Basin Landmen’s Association; a member of Oil, Gas and Energy Resources Law Section of the State Bar of Texas; and American Association of Professional Landmen. In his free time, Jance enjoys reading, watching copious amounts of great television, and serving at Mission Dorado Baptist Church, where he is a deacon.
